Nordic Aqua Partners appoints new Farm Manager at their site in Ningbo

Ola Frøvik has been appointed Farm Manager at Nordic Aqua (Ningbo) Co. Ltd., the 100% owned Chinese subsidiary of Nordic Aqua Partners A/S. Ola comes from the position as Operational Manager at Marineholmen RASlab, and he has previous hold positions as Managing Director of Vågafossen Settefisk AS and as Operation Manager for MOWI, Vågafossen.

Ola Frøvik has a wide experience from the aquaculture industry, and has during his carrier attended and passed a variety of programs, courses and certificates at University Nord, NTNU and UIB within production biology, fish health and WM6010-RAS.

Ola Frøvik will relocate and join the team in Ningbo in July this year.

Nordic Aqua Partner AS, through its 100% owned subsidiary, Nordic Aqua Ningbo Co, Ltd. will be the first commercial provider of locally farmed Atlantic salmon to the Chinese market. The 4,000 + 4,000 tons annual capacity and state-of-the-art Recirculating Aquaculture System (RAS) facility is located in the Xiangshan county of Ningbo municipality in the Greater Shanghai area. The construction has already started, with first inlay of eggs scheduled for Q4 this year, and first harvest in Q4-2023.
