Visit to Ningbo and Nordic Aqua (Ningbo) Co. Ltd. by the Norwegian Consul General in Shanghai

Nordic Aqua (Ningbo) Co. Ltd., had the pleasure of receiving Ms. Lise Nordgaard, the Norwegian Consul General in Shanghai to Xiangshan and our construction site. In addition to a full introduction to Nordic Aqua (Ningbo) and the ongoing construction activities on site, the Consul General also met with Governor Bao Chaoyang of Xiangshan County.

During the meeting with the Consul General, Governor Bao emphasized the important role Nordic Aqua (Ningbo) plays in the ongoing restructuring of the entire aquaculture industry in China and gave reassurance of his government full support to the development of Nordic Aqua (Ningbo). The Governor also expressed his sincere hope that other Norwegian and Nordic companies within the aquaculture industry would follow in the footsteps of Nordic Aqua (Ningbo) and set up businesses in Xiangshan and Ningbo.

The Consul General also met with Vice Mayor Li Guanding of Ningbo Municipality during her visit to Ningbo. Among many interesting topics being discussed, Vice Mayor Li also reassured the Consul General of his support to Nordic Aqua (Ningbo) and said that he was looking very much forward to be served fresh Atlantic salmon farmed in Ningbo.
